Leading has acquired the wills and probate business of London law firm Waller Pollins Goldstein t/a WPG Law.

The business will be merged with Norfolk  Will Writing, the estate planning arm of Leading. Norfolk Will Writing provides will writing, LPAs, probate and estate administration services.

WPG Law closed after being unable to renew its professional indemnity insurance, which resulted in the business entering liquidation.

Leading’s director, Jamie Playford, commented on the acquisition: “This is another exciting opportunity to grow our wills and estate planning business. The client base is primarily in north London and so this gives us an opportunity for our Borehamwood office to expand our coverage and reputation in that area.”

Lloyd Gilmore, who joined Leading in early 2020 and leads the Borehamwood office, added: “I’m looking forward to expanding our services to clients and professional contacts in London and across the home counties. WPG Law is a long-standing firm with a great client base and we look forward to talking to clients over the coming weeks.”
